Ashley is a licensed and board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with over 15 years of specialized experience as a clinical voice specialist, vocal coach, and professional vocalist. She offers a unique, integrative approach to care that bridges clinical expertise with a deep understanding of vocal performance and the importance of each client's unique vocal identity. Ashley works closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that support both vocal health and overall well-being.
Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, Ashley’s early career was rooted in the performing arts. She earned her Master’s degree in Musical Theatre from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London and performed in theaters across London, New York, and Austin. After experiencing a vocal injury firsthand, she was inspired to pursue a second Master’s degree in Speech and Language Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin, where she focused on voice, upper airway disorders, and gender affirming voice care.
Ashley is passionate about helping individuals overcome voice challenges and rediscover confidence in their vocal abilities—whether they are professional voice users or individuals facing medically complex voice conditions. She is dedicated to restoring function, promoting vocal resilience, and empowering patients to use their voices freely and effectively.
In her spare time, Ashley can be found having adventures with her family around Austin. She loves to be outdoors, and true to her British roots, she is always ready for a cup of tea and a slice of cake with a friend.
