Alexandra (Alex) has been with Austin ENT Clinic since 2012. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated cum laude with a degree in biomedical science. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2010. Alex is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Alex has a special interest in hearing, balance and voice. She is passionate about patient education and makes it a priority at every visit. Alex works closely with our laryngologist Dr. Chad Whited in the central office on Monday and Fridays. She also works in tandem with Dr. Brian Schwab in the Kyle office on Wednesdays. Alex previously worked with Dr. Winegar for 11 years prior to his retirement in 2024.
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys live music, reading, traveling and paddle boarding.

Margaret graduated with university honors in 2007 from the University of Michigan with a degree in kinesiology. Following several years of working, she earned her master of science in physician assistant studies (MPAS) at Hofstra University, where she graduated with distinction in 2016.
Margaret is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society, where she has served on the board of directors.
Prior to joining Austin ENT, she worked for five years as a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery. She now works with Dr. Kemper in the field of otology/neurotology.

Michelle has been with Austin ENT Clinic since 2015. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biomedical science in 2007. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2009.
Michelle is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Central Texas PA Society. She has special interest in airway health, sleep disordered breathing and sleep apnea. She works closely with Dr. Robert Butler, and they see both pediatric and adult patients in the South Austin and Bastrop offices.
Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys time with her husband and sons, as well as fitness and food.

Elizabeth Guzy, PA-C, (who goes by Liz) is a NCCPA-certified physician assistant who works closely with Dr. Dao. She grew up in south Florida and completed her undergraduate studies in education, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Florida. Her education background provides a foundation for counseling and educating patients and their families. Elizabeth received her master of medical science in physician assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University, also graduating summa cum laude. During her studies, she focused her preceptorship and research papers within ENT to further foster her passion.
Following graduation, she moved to Austin where she worked in a fast-paced urgent care, garnering invaluable experience within ENT followed by working at a busy private ENT practice. Elizabeth is excited to continue combining her education background and passion for ENT to provide the highest quality of personalized care within our practice.
In her personal life, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, doing activities together such as cooking, traveling, and being outdoors.

Sonam Khanjae was raised in Austin, Texas. She attended University of Texas at Austin and graduated with honors with a degree in Public Health in 2014. She then went on to earn her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, graduating with Honors in 2019. After graduation, she worked for about 5 years at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a physician assistant in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology.
Sonam is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. She works closely with Dr. Chad Whited seeing both pediatric and adult patients in Central Austin.
Outside of office, Sonam enjoys time with her husband and son. She especially enjoys traveling, cooking, and trying new restaurants.

Lauren is a Certified Physician Assistant who works in conjunction with Dr. Shepard to treat adult and pediatric patients with a variety of otolaryngologic conditions. She is passionate about helping patients with allergic rhinitis achieve the best possible outcome with medications and immunotherapy.
In 2005, she graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She then attended Physician Assistant school at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she graduated in 2009 with her MPAS. After graduation, she spent 3 years in the Dominican Republic doing medical mission work. Upon returning to Austin, she spent 11 years working in allergy, asthma, and immunology before joining Austin ENT Clinic.
Lauren is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology, the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
Lauren is a native Austinite. Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. She especially enjoys being outdoors and camping.

Elizabeth Yarotsky was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with honors with a degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2007. She then went on to earn her master’s degree with honors in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Baylor College ofMedicine at the Texas Medical Center in Houston.
Elizabeth Yarotsky is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society. After graduation, she worked for over 7 years in the Texas Medical Center at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a physician assistant in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology.
She now joins us to support Dr. Taylor Shepard and Dr. Michael Yium. They see patients in the South Austin and Southwest Village offices.

Collin Dorner has been with Austin ENT Clinic since January 2025. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2021. He began his nursing career in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, caring for postoperative neurosurgical patients, and later worked as a surgical nurse in the operating room alongside ENT faculty and staff at UAB Hospital.
To further his education and clinical skills, Collin completed his Master of Science in Nursing with a subspecialty in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care and obtained his Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) certification, graduating from UAB in the summer of 2024. He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Collin has a special interest in sinus, allergy, voice, and cough. He works closely with rhinologist Dr. Feras Ackall and laryngologist Dr. Chad Whited. Collin sees patients at the South Austin office on Tuesdays and the Central Austin office on Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays.
In his free time, Collin enjoys playing video games, attending music festivals, kayaking, and writing poetry.
