 Dr.
Sawyer attended TCU in Fort Worth Texas and then the University
of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas. After medical school,
he completed his surgical residency at the University of Oklahoma,
and continued Otolaryngology residency at the University of Washington
in Seattle, WA. Dr. Sawyer served as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S.
Navy, and practiced in the Navy Regional Medical Center at Camp Lejeune,
NC before setting up practice in Austin. Dr. Sawyer practices Pediatric
Otolaryngology and is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
He is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Otolaryngology / Head
and Neck Surgery, and of the American College of Surgeons. He is also
a Specialty Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His hospital
affiliations include the Children's Hospital of Austin, Brackenridge
Hospital, Seton Hospital, and St. David's Hospital. He has three children and enjoys swimming, biking, and golf. |
